kostia rapoport
You wouldn't be wrong if you decided after hearing Kostia Rapoport's ingenious remix of Afroganic's Nadeya that this was the work of a veteran producer well versed in big sounds, musical wizardry, and slick production. But here’s the catch, Kostia is only 23 years old. "The eerie key and mod really helped offset the vocal. The remixer took a lot of liberty with chopping and pitching the vocal to really help make it work. Excellent work!" says international renowned Dj Lance Jordan. Kostia was born in Russia in 1984 to accomplished musician parents who encouraged his natural talent as a classical pianist. But it was his love of jazz and part time work at a recording studio that put Kostia on a very different path.

He started writing music for established singers and bands, scoring for films, and composing jingles in his late teens. Kostia currently lives between Paris and Hanover where he is studying contemporary composition and managing his project studio.
